The Georgia Memorial is located at the Fort Garrott stop on the Vicksburg National Military Park Battlefield Tour. Constructed of granite with a generic inscription, the state didn’t put much effort into the memorial. In fact, it is the same one as at the Gettysburg, Antietam, and Kennesaw Mountain battlefields. It was dedicated in October 1962.
