Alabama State Memorial at Vicksburg National Military Park
The Alabama State Memorial at Vicksburg National Military Park consists of a base of granite and a sculpture by Steffen Thomas. Seven Alabama infantrymen are inspired by a woman who represents the state of Alabama. The memorial was dedicated in July 1951.
