See the main Missionary Ridge page for a reservation location map.

The Turchin Reservation on Missionary Ridge in the Chattanooga Unit of Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park honors Union General John Turchin, a Russian immigrant trained at the Imperial Military Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia. Fighting at this spot was between Turchin’s men and Confederate soldiers from Alabama and South Carolina.

The Turchin Reservation is a small reservation marked with two cannon and a tablet. There is no parking, so you can slow down to see it provided no cars are behind you, or you can park on a side street and walk to the reservation.
