Horseback riding is permitted in the Chickamauga Battlefield Unit of Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park along the Red, Blue, and White trails. The Red Trail actually forms a loop around the park, whereas the Blue and White trails just offer short out-and-back side trips.
A parking lot for those with horse trailers is located on Lytle Road in the west-central section of the park.
