Ohio Monument at the Ohio Reservation in the Chattanooga Unit of Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park

The Ohio Reservation on Missionary Ridge in the Chattanooga Unit of Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park marks the location where Union soldiers under the command of Thomas Wood attacked the Confederate forces on the ridge. Many of the men were from Ohio. The Ohio Monument was erected by the state of Ohio after the war.
The Ohio Reservation is situated between two residential homes and features artillery, tablets, and the Ohio Monument. A small pull-out parking area along the street can fit three or four cars.
