The Eddy Creek Boat Ramp is located between beach Parking Areas #7 and #8 at Playalinda Beach. This is part of Canaveral National Seashore, and a fee is required to enter the park. There is no additional fee to use the boat ramp. It is open during normal park operating hours.
Eddy Creek has a paved parking lot that is divided into two sections. The one closest to the road is for beachgoers. A handicap-accessible boardwalk to the Atlantic Ocean beach is on the other side of the road.
The second section is for those using the boat ramp. There are seven parking spaces large enough for vehicles and trailers and an additional four spaces for vehicles only.
While the parking lot is paved, the ramp is simply a sloped dirt drive down to the water.
In addition to the boat ramp, there is a fishing pier and a small beach along one side of the protective cove.
There is one restroom in the parking lot and another on the opposite side of the road next to the boardwalk. These are chemical toilets—fancy outhouses in an actual building—that do not have any running water.
At the top of the beach boardwalk at Eddy Creek is a covered pavilion with a long picnic table that has benches on either side, plus two more benches. While you certainly can stop here for a bite to eat, the arrangement of benches leads me to believe that the pavilion is also used as some sort of demonstration area.
