See the Boat Launches web page for an interactive location map.

A launch for hand-paddled watercraft is located behind the Apollo Beach Visitor Center at Canaveral National Seashore. While mainly used to launch canoes rented from the Visitor Center, anyone can use it for their paddling trips on Mosquito Lagoon. Parking is less than 150 feet away.

As mentioned, it is possible to rent a canoe at the Apollo Beach Visitor Center, but the National Park Service will only do so if it is not too windy…and wind can kick up at any time. If you are dead-set on paddling, it is best to have your own boat. People camping at Backcountry Campsites #1 through #5 can also rent a canoe for overnight trips, though once again, you are subject to being stuck high and dry if the park Rangers deem it too windy.
