CANYON RIM DRIVE
STOP 1: LITTLE RIVER FALLS OVERLOOK
The first stop on the Canyon Rim Drive when traveling north to south is the Little River Falls Overlook. An observation platform gives visitors a view from a quarter mile downriver from the waterfall. There is a spotting scope at the platform.

If you want to get closer to Little River Falls—and get a much better view—be sure to stop at the Little River Falls parking lot on Alabama Highway 35. The observation deck there offers the best view of the waterfall in Little River Canyon National Preserve.
