Picnic tables at the Thurmont Vista Parking Lot, Catoctin Mountain Park
There are six picnic tables—no grills—at the Thurmont Vista / Charcoal Exhibit Parking Lot, the second parking lot north of the Catoctin Mountain Park Visitor Center on Park Central Road. All tables are in the shade.
This is not a picnic area where you would hold any type of group event, just a place to have a bite to eat before or after hiking some of the trails in the park. Besides, all tables are taken on a first come, first served basis and cannot be reserved.
