Catoctin Mountain Park has three separate cabin camps that can accommodate individuals and groups. All require reservations—no walk ups. Many of the cabins and the supporting buildings were constructed in the 1930s and 40s by the Works Progress Administration, an organization designed to get men back to work during the Great Depression.
Camp Misty Mount has cabins for individuals and families, and small groups can rent multiple cabins. Camp Round Meadow and Camp Greentop are for large groups coming for events such as retreats and conferences. Both group camps have a commercial kitchen, dining hall, and meeting facilities.
Regardless of where you or your group stays, guests must bring their own bedding, towels, cleaning supplies, and even toilet paper.
