Fishing is allowed within Catoctin Mountain Park at Big Hunting Creek, Owens Creek, and the Lewis Area pond. No special permit is needed from the National Park Service, but those 16 and older must have a Maryland fishing license, and if fishing in the creeks, a trout stamp.

For complete rules and regulations, see the National Park Service’s Fishing web page for Catoctin Mountain Park.
