Ranger leads a tour of Governors Island historic district
The National Park Service offers free guided tours of Fort Jay and Castle Williams. The tour schedule varies per season, so be sure to get the latest days and times on the National Park Service’s official Guided Tours web page for Governors Island National Monument. For those already at Governors Island, schedules are posted outside the entrances of Fort Jay and Castle Williams.
Volunteers for the Friends of Governors Island also lead guided walking tours of the island on Saturdays and Sundays. See the Guided Walking Tours web page for more details and a schedule.
