There are five hiking trails within Capulin Volcano National Monument. Two of the trails, the Nature Trail and the Lava Flow Trail, begin at the Visitor Center. The other three are located along Volcano Road, Boca Trail at the midway point and the Crater Rim and Crater Vent trails at the top of the volcano.
