The Hartwell Tavern and its parking lot are .2 mile from each other and are connected by a gravel path that runs mainly through a wooded area. Midway is a field, and here you will find a small picnic area with a half dozen tables. There are no grills, and all tables are taken on a first come, first served basis. This is just a place for guests of Minute Man National Historical Park to use if they want a bite to eat, not a place where you would host a birthday party or other event.
A modern restroom facility is located along the path, but closer to the parking lot.
