There are two areas where guests can picnic at Thomas Stone National Historic Site. These provide a place to have a quick bite to eat while visiting the park and are not intended to host large groups or family outings. There are no grills.

A covered shelter is located a short distance down the park’s Grounds Loop Trail. The trailhead is at the far end of the Visitor Center parking lot (left of the building if facing it).

Six picnic tables are located on a brick sidewalk at the Visitor Center parking lot. The tables are under shade trees.
