Glen Echo Park Historical Buildings
The original Candy Corner building at Glen Echo Park looked like a typical open-air concession stand with an oversize awning. You could walk up to any side and order food and drinks. The place was closed at night by shutters or a roll down screen.
The Candy Corner standing today was built in 2007. It is completely enclosed and now serves as the park Visitor Center. The roof is similar to the original building, but that’s about it.
