Acadia National Park | EAGLE LAKE BOAT RAMP

Eagle Lake Boat Ramp, Acadia National Park

A dirt boat ramp suitable for launching small motorboats, kayaks, and canoes is located at the north end of Acadia National Park’s Eagle Lake. There is a parking lot nearby that holds a couple dozen vehicles, but I saw no spaces designed to accommodate boat trailers.

Paddleboarding, windsurfing, and kiteboarding are not allowed because it is easy to fall into the water, and no humans are allowed in the water because Eagle Lake is used as a drinking water source. However, do feel free to launch your gasoline-powered motorboats. God forbid that anyone gets a taste of human scum, but oil and gasoline are just fine. Motors are limited to 10 horsepower on Eagle Lake.
