The only picnic area at Cane River Creole National Historical Park is at Oakland Plantation in Natchez. It is located next to the parking area. There are five tables in a wooded area and another five under the pavilion that doubles as a visitor information center. There are no grills. Restrooms are at the pavilion. The tables can be reserved for events, though a permit is required. See the National Park Service’s Permits web page for more information.
