Jimmy Carter National Historical Park | PICNIC AREAS

A small picnic area with a dozen tables is located in a shaded area next to the parking lot at Plains High School, home of the Jimmy Carter National Historical Park Visitor Center. There are no grills, and all tables are taken on a first come, first served basis. This is a spot for park guests to have a bite to eat, not a place where you would host a large gathering. Restrooms are located inside the school.

There is also a picnic area at the Jimmy Carter Boyhood Farm right before you come to the parking lot. There are a half dozen tables in a shaded area, but no grills. These tables are also first come, first served. A restroom building is near the entrance to the farm.
