Jimmy Carter National Historical Park commemorates the life of Jimmy Carter, the 39th President of the United States. Located in rural Plains, Georgia, the Peanut Capital of the World, visitors can tour the farm that Carter grew up on, visit Carter’s campaign headquarters at the Plains Railroad Depot, and learn about his life at the Plains High School Visitor Center.
