FEES

Fees are collected for parking at Dingmans Ferry from mid-April through early October. There is no specific fee to use the boat ramp, so you can get dropped off or picked up for free as long as the vehicle transporting you does not park at the facility.

Season passes are available specifically for Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Fees are not covered by the annual National Park Pass, but Senior, Military, Access, Golden Age, and Golden Access pass holders do get a 50% discount. Get the latest fees on the National Park Service’s official Fees and Passes web page for the park.

If you do not have a season pass, you can pay at Dingmans Ferry on the day of your visit. Payment is by cash or check only. Look for the collection box near the boat ramp. Get a pay envelope from the box, fill out the required information (be sure you have a pen), and place your payment inside. Tear off the receipt and drop the envelope into the box. Place the receipt on your car dashboard. If using cash, know the fees ahead of time and bring the appropriate bills because there is no way to get change.

BOAT RAMP DETAILS

The Dingmans Ferry Boat Ramp is a concrete ramp with a section for trailer-launched boats and a section that runs parallel to the shoreline for those with hand-launched boats such as canoes and kayaks. The ramp for trailer-launched boats is a straight shot to the water when backing up your vehicle and trailer, whereas your vehicle ends up parallel to the water when alongside the hand-launch area.

In addition to the boat ramp, there is a modern restroom and a few picnic tables scattered around the property. The parking lot is huge, and there is nothing to do at Dingmans other than launch a boat, so needless to say, there are plenty of spaces for vehicles with trailers.
