Picnic area at Salem Maritime National Historical Park
An eight-table picnic area for Salem Maritime National Historical Park is located on Central Wharf near the Waite and Peirce Information Center and Park Store. The tables are situated on a brick walkway, and half of them are out in the open and half are under shade trees. There are no grills, and all tables are taken on a first come, first served basis, so this is a picnic area for park guests who just want a bite to eat, not a picnic area for hosting parties or other large events.
The park’s restroom building is next door.
