Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton, Pennsylvania, brings to life the steam era of railroading with train rides, a collection of historical steam locomotives and railway cars, and two large museums, one that covers the history of the railroad and the railroad industry and another that focuses on the technology of the railroad.
