SHILOH BATTLEFIELD TOUR STOP #20

Dill Branch Ravine is the first of three Shiloh National Military Park battlefield tour stops along the Tennessee River. At this location two Union gunboats, the Lexington and Tyler, were positioned to help defend the troops at Pittsburg Landing. Two cannon are on display. If you look closely, you will notice that these are different from the cannon found elsewhere on the battlefield. As a representation of the naval ships, these are naval cannon.
