TOUR STOP 6: UNION CAMP
The sixth stop on the tour of Fort Donelson National Battlefield is at the site where Union General Charles Smith and his men camped the night of February 14, 1862, after successfully capturing the outer defensive trenches on the Confederate right flank earlier that day. There is nothing at this stop other than a wayside exhibit and remnants of the Confederate earthworks.
