The main visitor center at Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area is the Park Headquarters building at 1978 River Road in Bushkill, Pennsylvania. Rangers are on duty inside to answer questions, and you can pick up a park brochure and the Guide to the Gap, a free tabloid-size publication with the best information about the park. There is also a souvenir store inside but no exhibits worth mentioning. The building is typically open daily during the tourist season from 9 AM to 5 PM, and weekdays only during the off-season, mid-October through mid-April. Times can always change, so be sure to get the latest schedule on the National Park Service’s Visitor Centers web page.
The visitor center at Dingmans Falls (224 Dingmans Falls Road) is typically open during the tourist season from 9 AM to 4:30 PM every day but Tuesday when it is closed. The road to the visitor center is often closed to RVs, buses, and vehicles with trailers on the weekend and holidays due to congestion and a lack of parking.
The Kittatinny Point Visitor Center is closed for the foreseeable future.
There is a box with park brochures and copies of Guide to the Gap outside the front door of the Bushkill Visitor Center (provided the box is stocked). The building is located at 6414 Milford Road in Bushkill. This is a few miles north of Park Headquarters.
Rangers also set up tents near the most popular spots in the park on weekends during the tourist season, so visitors can get information at these locations.
