The Cider Mill at Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area’s Millbrook Village is an authentic mill that was moved here in the 1980s. Apple orchards were common in this area of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The fruit was made into applesauce, pies, and other baked goods, but most of it was pressed to produce apple cider. In addition to the sweet beverage that everyone could enjoy, cider can also be turned into vinegar and alcoholic beverages.
