The Blacksmith Shop is an authentic building that was moved to Millbrook Village in the 1970s. As with the nearby Wagon Shop, a blacksmith shop was an integral part of every town in the 1800s and early 1900s. It wasn’t until the 1950s that the blacksmithing trade faded from prominence in rural towns in the United States.
