The Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) is located in the central section of Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area in Pennsylvania. PEEC is a private non-profit organization that has partnered with the National Park Service to provide environmental education programs for school groups, youth groups, and families, as well as summer camps and weekend educational programs for the general public. The PEEC facility is also available to rent for meetings, reunions, retreats, conferences, and other events. For more information, visit the Pocono Environmental Education Center webpage.
Surrounding the education center facility are five trails that cover over ten miles. I only hiked one trail in this section—the Two Ponds Trail—due to rain on two of the three days I had set aside for hiking this area.
