A small picnic area at James A. Garfield National Historic Site is located next to the visitor parking lot near the Tenant House (red building), which is now the park office. There are eight tables but no grills. All tables are taken on a first come, first served basis.
While the picnic area is not an optimal place to hold a group event due to the tables not being able to be reserved and there being no grills, it can be done. You may, however, need a permit. Contact the park at (440) 255-8722 for more information.
