The main picnic area off Patriots Hall Drive
There are two picnic areas at Moores Creek National Battlefield. Just outside the Visitor Center in a field near the parking lot is a small picnic are with three tables, but no grills. This is fine for those who just want a sandwich after a day at the park. However, the main picnic area for those planning a large picnic for something like a family reunion or a summer get-together is at the end of Patriots Hall Drive. In addition to picnic tables (15+), grills, and a covered pavilion is Patriots Hall, an indoor facility that can be rented for events (the picnic pavilion can also be rented). Fishing is allowed in Moores Creek at the Patriots Hall Drive picnic area only.
