At the end of Wharf Road is an access point to the Potomac River suitable for launching hand-paddled watercraft. I suppose you could launch a small fishing boat as well, but there isn’t much parking to begin with; trying to park a boat trailer will only compound the problem. This is a popular fishing spot, and the parking lot may well be full by the early afternoon. If you have a motorized boat, try the Marshall Hall Landing Boat Ramp instead. This is located on the west side of Piscataway Park.
