Jones Bridge Unit Main Page

The Jones Bridge Unit of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area has a boat ramp suitable for launching hand-paddled and motorized boats. The ramp is located at the first parking lot that you come to once entering the unit. There are only four parking spaces, all large enough for a vehicle with a boat trailer. During the week anyone can park in them, but on the weekends they are for vehicles with trailers only. If you wish to launch a hand-paddled watercraft on the weekend, there is a canoe launch at the north end parking lot a half mile farther down the road.
