Back to the Adams Key main page
Adams Key is a day-use area only, meaning that there is no overnight camping or docking allowed on the island. Also, there is no drop-off and pick-up service, so you will need your own boat to get here.
There are a few picnic tables housed inside a covered pavilion and two grills in the yard next to the pavilion. A modern restroom facility with flush toilets and sinks is nearby.
While mosquitoes are a problem year-round, if you visit from November through March they shouldn’t be too bad as long as you stay in the open areas. Once the sun warms things up they tend to go away. However, there are tons of them back in the forest, so I’d recommend staying far away from there, including staying off the Adams Key Loop Trail.
