Fort Matanzas National Monument picnic area surrounded by Live Oaks

Fort Matanzas National Monument has a nice picnic area with a half dozen tables (no grills), all shaded by Live Oaks. Visitors love to have their photos taken next to or on the trees. They make great climbing trees for children or those who like to climb trees. A restroom area is located across the street.
