Fort Matanzas National Monument picnic area surrounded by Live Oaks
Fort Matanzas National Monument has a nice picnic area with a half dozen tables (no grills), all shaded by Live Oaks. A restroom is located across the street. The picnic tables are available every day from 9 AM to 5:30 PM. The park gate is locked at closing time, and any vehicles remaining inside will be stuck there until the next morning.
