Hopewell Culture National Historical Park in Chillicothe, Ohio, protects five Native American ceremonial sites that once consisted of massive earthen geometric shapes and mounds created between 1 AD and 400 AD. In September 2023, the park and three other earthwork sites in the Chillicothe area became a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
