CANOE LAUNCH DETAILS
The Skinners Falls Canoe Launch has a large parking lot with three portable toilets. It is located across the street from the Skinners Falls Campground, which has its own parking area and canoe launch.
From the parking lot, paddlers must tote their boats and gear about 75 yards down a narrow path to the river. Half of the path is a paved sidewalk, while the other half is dirt. The shoreline at the launch site is full of what is best described as cobblestones, so be careful not to twist an ankle. It’s not the easiest place to start a river trip, but it’s not the most difficult either. Most experienced paddlers deal with this type of launch site all the time.

Pathway to the river from the parking lot at Skinners Falls, Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River
If you are ending your river trip at Skinners Falls, the canoe launch is on the New York (left) side of the Delaware River just after passing under the Skinners Falls Bridge. Do not stop at the canoe launch before the bridge, as this is part of the private Skinners Falls Campground.
