TYPE
The Scott Park Boat Ramp can accommodate trailer-launched and hand-launched watercraft.
LOCATION
The ramp is located in Easton, Pennsylvania, just south of the Northampton Street Bridge on Larry Holmes Drive. If using Google Maps for directions, search SCOTT PARK BOAT RAMP. The ramp is owned by the city of Easton.
FEES
There is no fee to use the Scott Park Boat Ramp. However, there is only limited parking along the street—less than two dozens spaces—and parking fees apply. It’s one of those phone app parking areas, so if you don’t have a cell phone or don’t want to download the app, you can’t park.
BOAT RAMP DETAILS
The Scott Park Boat Ramp is a concrete ramp suitable for launching all types of small boats. A driveway winds down from the road above where the park is located.
If traveling downriver from the northern end of the Lower Delaware National Wild and Scenic River, once you pass under the Northampton Street Bridge, the second bridge in the urban area of Easton and Phillipsburg, look for a large retaining wall just before a dam on the Lehigh River. The ramp is a stone’s throw farther down from the retaining wall at the corner of the park. Go any farther and you’ll be at the confluence of the Delaware and Lehigh rivers.
