GENERAL INFORMATION
The Harriet Tubman National Historical Park Visitor Center is located at 47 Parker Street in Auburn, New York. Street parking is available for visitors.
The building was constructed in 1910 by the Thompson Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church for use as a parsonage to house pastors actively serving the congregation. Both the church and parsonage underwent extensive restoration after becoming part of the National Park System in 2017. They opened to the public in June 2024.
The church and parsonage are only part of Harriet Tubman National Historical Park. Be sure to visit the Harriet Tubman Home site at 180 South Street.
OPERATING HOURS
The Visitor Center is typically open Fridays and Saturdays from 10 AM to 4 PM. It is closed from November through late May. Keep in mind that times can always change, so be sure to get the latest schedule on the National Park Service’s official Operating Hours and Seasons web page for Harriet Tubman National Historical Park.
