There are five picnic tables located on a paved pad near the boat ramp at the McGinnis Ferry Unit of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. All tables are accessible to handicap visitors. This is not a picnic area where you would hold a family or corporate outing, but merely a place to have a bite to eat before or after a fishing or paddling trip down the river. All tables are out in the open and exposed to the sun. There is no restroom.

Unlike the other units of the park, there is no pay station, so I assume that there is no fee to use the picnic tables or boat ramp.
