McGinnis Ferry Unit Main Page

The McGinnis Ferry unit of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area has a paved boat ramp suitable for launching motorized boats, canoes, kayaks, and rafts. Those with hand-launched watercraft can unload at the ramp, so no need to carry equipment from the parking lot.

Parking is available for approximately fifteen cars, and there is room for boat trailers. Additional parking can be done along the side of the lot.

Unlike other park units, there is no pay station, so I assume that there is no fee to use the facilities.
