There are a few trails within Stones River National Battlefield, but only the Boundary Trail is worth hiking. If you combine this with a short trail that runs from the Hazen Brigade Monument to the Stones River National Cemetery, you can form a nice loop around the entire park. There are also a number of short trails that are specific to the Battlefield Tour stops, meaning that you hike these to get to exhibits. Most are a half-mile long. You can read about these trails on the following web pages:
