Horseback riding is allowed at Ninety Six National Historic Site on designated trails marked with signs and/or orange or red blazes. No horses are allowed on any of the hiking trails. Also, riding is only allowed on Wednesdays through Sundays from 8:30 AM to 5 PM. For complete rules and regulations, see the park’s official Horse Regulations web page.

Unload your horses and park your trailer at the designated parking lot on Kinard Road off of Highway 246. This is a separate lot from the fishing parking lot, and it is the first that you will come to.
