Valley Forge National Historical Park | PICNIC AREAS

VALLEY FORGE PICNIC AREAS

There are four large picnic areas at Valley Forge National Historical Park. All tables are taken on a first come, first served basis. Groups of 20 or more must use the Betzwood, Varnum’s, or Wayne’s Woods picnic areas. Groups of over 30 need a permit, though this is not to reserve the tables. Even with a permit, group members must show up and get the tables before somebody else does.

In addition to the large picnic areas, there are a few tables at the main parking lot of the Valley Forge National Historical Park Visitor Center and a small pavilion with a few more tables located on the upper level of the Visitor Center property by the employee parking lot.
