Picnic area and garden at First Ladies National Historic Site

There is a small picnic area and garden located between the Saxton House and the First Ladies National Historic Site parking lot on Market Avenue South. There are five tables with benches in a shaded area along with a few garden plots. The property is officially called the First Ladies Garden and is owned by the National First Ladies’ Library, the nonprofit that partners with the National Park Service to operate the park.
