See the Cades Cove Region web page for an interactive location map.
The Cades Cove Visitor Center at Great Smoky Mountains National Park is located about halfway around the Cades Cove Loop Road. It is part of the Cable Mill Historic Area, a collection of original farm buildings similar to the Mountain Farm Outdoor Museum in the Smokemont Region. The Visitor Center was built in 1972 to look like an old cabin and functions mainly as a gift store, though you can get brochures and other information about the park. Restrooms are also on the premises.
The Visitor Center is open daily except for Christmas. Closing hours vary per season.
