Private boats have access to all of the islands at Cape Lookout National Seashore. However, I do not own a boat and know nothing about boats other than that they are fun to ride in. The waters around Cape Lookout are very shallow (average depth of 5 feet) and full of sandbars, so you had better know what you are doing when you decide to take your boat to the area. For more information on boating, visit the National Park Service’s official Boating web page for the park.
