Wesner Bald View on the Blue Ridge Parkway

Wesner Bald is a very large mountain, and you can get a good look at it from the Wesner Bald View overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway, but I just happened along at the wrong time. A cloud keep the mountain in the shadows and made my photos sort of blah. This is a westward facing overlook, so you don’t want to be photographing it in the late afternoon. Because the sun will be going down behind the mountain, it is a popular spot in the evening to view the sunset.
