Trails: Mountains to Sea Trail
Picnic Tables: None

The Singecat Ridge Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway is a lost cause due to large trees that are very unlikely to be removed. The overlook now serves only as parking for the Mountains to Sea Trail, a 1.150-mile trail that stretches from Great Smoky Mountains National Park to the North Carolina Outer Banks. It is not part of the National Park system, so I did not hike or review it, but you can get information on the Friends of the Mountains to Sea Trail website. One trailhead is located at the south end of the parking lot and the other is on the opposites side of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
